Purpose of the Kittitas County Sheep Producers
- To serve and promote the best interests of the area’s sheep producers.
- To cooperate with the American Sheep Industry Association, the Washington State Sheep Producers, and such other National and State organizations and agencies concerned with the sheep industry.
- To assist in the pool marketing of wool and location of shearers.
- To foster and encourage an interest in good sheep and good sheep husbandry.
- To cooperate with the local County Extension agents and other Washington State University Extension faculty in promoting the continuing education of those interested in and involved in the sheep industry.
